HI Duyong i've been to Krabi...
To answer ur quest :
1. Hotel in Aonanag -banyak sekali
You may try -Wanna'a place, Palace Aonang hote, Alis hotel,
Kalo murah - i propose Palace Aonang -very convenient
2. Krabi adalah 40% muslim i guess. Kalo kat aonang, kalo restaurant thai mostly halal -takde serve porks -some kedai ade perkataan halal. So, u can still find rice n tomyam easily there.
3. Shopping, kat krabi town cheaper as compared to aonang.
4. Kalao nak ke PHI -phi , u have to go from aonang. kat tepi pantai, along the aoang town, ade macam tempat boat nak ke railey, kat situ u boleh beli ticket.
or else just get the ticket from hotel. all hotels ade contact ngan agen yg ade boat/ferry ke phi -phi island. u purchase the ticket kat hotel -biasa kat lobby ade booth yang travel agent tu. then esoknya, pagi2 lagi akan ade van/4 weel drive yang akan datang pick u up from hotel and send u to the jetty, tempat naik ferry to phi phi island.

activity, mostly island hopping laaa.
pegi la snorkelling or diving,...damn beautiful...
For those yg suke beach life will appreciate your stay at PHI PHI very much.
Don;t miss Maya Bay -the place where they shot the movie " the beach" my leonardo dicaprio.
kat sini ada some of my recent holiday kat Aonang, Phi phi, Railey -enjoy.

i tak plan nak stay kat PP island...(w/pun hatiku bagai di garu2 nak stay sana)..senang nak bergelumang kat laut...daku kalo dah gi island, balik darat utk makan je....kering baju je...dusyummmmm.....gi sembang2 ngan ikan....
maybe spend 1 whole day je kat PP island tu....coz ingat nak jenjalan kat krabi & see how much i can visit places around there.
soklan cepumas nih - kat PP island tu, byk tak dugong2 t*pless...maklum la, i ni bwk bebudak, if possible, u all bagitau la beaches2 yg "hot spot" & secluded tu....boleh la daku avoid kan...

sorry la nothing much i can share bout krabi town.didnt stay there.
spend most of the time at Aonang and phi phi.
if at Aonang, you can go to the beach and try their massage, they have like lots of stall by the seaside, if from far people tot its like a stall jual makanan, but actually its a stall for massage. punya la panjang and banyak gile stall massage along the beach side.
from aonang, you can purchase a boat ticket and go for a day trip to railey.
this is not an island, but on the other side of aonang, can only reach there by boat. there, got rock climbing. you may try to climb the rock. of course try to get some info from the agent at the jetty .
the speedboat tu, we follow island tour on for a day trip. dia bawak pegi a few island la,,...very nice. u shud try this, cant recall la how much i paid. maybe 800 to 1000 bath per person. this tour very good. they took us to a few island, where u can snorkell, they will provide the snorkelling set n lunch as well. they took us to the marine park, where you can feed the fish n swim along with all fishes. ni yang tempat ikan jinak-jinak belaka. kids will definately enjoy this.
then they took us to tempat ikan tak jinak juge, kat sini pon best, semuanya cantik2 belaka. |

duyong, u boleh search fares utk ferry/airport transfer/cab/bus etc from krabi hotel's information. kena melayari sket..
yg i perasan, charges ikut suka hotel tu..some mahal..& some ok....maybe ikut hotel nyer star rating la tu... |

tapi i takut gak nak bwk my kids gi island hopping..ye la..youngest baru 21/2 yrs..risau gak, tp tengok la nanti, kalo besar dr speed boat, maybe leh la....

PP CSITA to hotel kat Phi Phi Don.
Maya bay is not really located at Phi Phi island yang orang boleh stay. TEmpat yang boleh tinggal tu is called Phi Phi Don.
Maya Bay terletak at Phi Phi Ley, dalam 20mins speed boat from Phi Phi Don.
Tempat ni oklahhh.,... banyak orang. yg topless pun ade tapi tak banyak laaa.. yg i nampak...kalo nak gi sini kene gi early in the morning better.

The mat salleh guy yang berjalan facing the camera tu, was my snorkelling n diving instructor..banyak mat salleh yg fall in love with beach life, tak balik negeri dierang dahhh,....dierang menetap kat phi phi n run a business for living in there.

actually its off-season, tak kesah la nyah....harap2 jgn hujan semedang sudah....
btw, i dah tgk yr pics tu...mmg menarik...
ye la...kalau i ni terjebak ngan beachlife ni sblm kawen..mmg la...harus jugak haku pun dok sana...plg bodo pun jd tourist guide
sbb i ni mmg, kalo dpt laut tak naik darat....bukan apa...rasa mcm 1 ketenangan bila tgk ocean life tu...then menikmati keindahan ciptaan allah yg mmg kita takkan jumpa kat darat... |
