complete main characters (minus the aunts, the uncle & the grandpa):
Kim Yun-hee/Lee Sun-woo (Kim Hyun Joo) - the younger sister
Kim Tae-hee (Kim Ji Ho) - the older sister
Jang Jae-hyuk (Han Jae Suk) - the one who helped Tae-hee & went to study in the U.S.
Park Chul-woong (Soh Ji Sup) - the one who fell for Yun-hee/Sun-woo
Woo Seung-hee (Kim Min Sun) - the fake sister
Park Yon-woong (Kim Jung Hwa) - Chul-woong's sister
Yun Suh-joon (Kim Chung Ryeol) - Tae-hee & Yun-hee's cousin

Han Jae Suk memang nampak hensem sikit berbanding dalam All Abou Eve especially dengan hairstyle dia tu. Well for those yang minat kat dia bolehlah pandang puas-puas dalam cerita ni. Just tak faham satu je. Kenapa dia nak balas dendam dekat atuk Tae-Hee tu? Apa sebenarnya permusuhan dia dengan En. Kim?

ye, nampaknya Sun-woo & Jae-hyuk dah saling tertarik antara satu sama lain...tapi dalam masa yg sama, Sun-woo sangat mengambil berat akan Chul-woong...mungkin jugak dia anggap Chul-woong macam abang, but we'll just wait & see...hubungan Tae-hee & Jae-hyuk plak kelihatan tegang...probably becoz' Jae-hyuk knows that Tae-hee is Mr. Kim's only granddaughter (for the time being!)...but actually, masa diorang kecik dulu, Jae-hyuk memang ikhlas berkawan dgn Tae-hee sebelum dia dapat tau Tae-hee tu cucu Mr. Kim...personally, I prefer Sun-woo dgn Chul-woong jugak...
citer ni nampaknya akan bertambah complicated bila Tae-hee dapat tau sapa Yun-hee yg sebenarnya...tapi kesian tengok dua beradik tu masa diorang bertemu kat hospital...kan ke kesian bila mula2 kenal je dah banyak prasangka... |

a few observations after 16 episodes...
though this drama still has a long way to go (about 24 episodes more), this is an early POV of what I think on some of the characters in this series...
Seung-hee (Kim Min Sun) - eventhough dia ni agak jahat, tapi bila tengok dia 'berinteraksi' dgn Sun-woo, terasa macam tengok 2 adik-beradik yg tak habis2 bertekak...
Tae-hee (Kim Ji Ho) - kekasih yg setia & kakak yg penyayang...sanggup melindungi 'Yun-hee' tak kira apa budak tu buat...sayang, yg dikasihi tu bukan adiknya yg sebenar...pasal Jae-hyuk pulak, dia memang dah suka Jae-hyuk sejak dr kecik, tapi kite baru dapat tau dr a reliable source bahawa Jae-hyuk keciklah yg merancang supaya Tae-hee kecik dibelasah oleh ketua gangster tu, so that when the younger Jae-hyuk came to her rescue, the younger Tae-hee would be grateful to him and accept his help...tak taulah kalau Tae-hee still boleh maafkan Jae-hyuk lepas tau kenyataannya...
Chul-woong (Soh Ji Sup) - memang dia ni sanggup buat apa saja utk Sun-woo, cuma cara dia memenangi hati Sun-woo tu salah...kalaulah Chul-woong boleh se'charming' Jae-hyuk dlm mendekati Sun-woo, tak mustahil Sun-woo boleh jatuh cinta padanya...but then, he has his own ways...
memang tak dinafikan salah satu faktor yg menyebabkan Jae-hyuk tertarik pada Sun-woo ialah ketabahannya menghadapi hidup & lifestylenya yg simple...Sun-woo's 'fondness' for Jae-hyuk is more of physical attraction (meaning: love at first sight), dan dia pun dah tertarik hati, tapi masa Sun-woo masuk bilik Chul-woong & tengok Chul-woong belum balik, then dia cakap, 'Budak ni selalu membuat aku sedih.', tetiba je kite terfikir, entah2 Sun-woo dah jatuh cinta pada Chul-woong tanpa disedari...
satu lagi character yg kite suka ialah Yon-woong...perangainya kalau marah sebijik cam abang dia Chul-woong, panas baran & macam gangster...tapi suka tengok muka dia yg lawa...
that's just some observations of mine...kalau ada sesapa yg nak tambah atau nak argue, silakanlah...dialu2kan... |

Hmm, whitedove.....totally agree with you there, Glass Shoes still has a long way to go, it's not even half the series. Can't figure out why the drama has to be 40 episodes and not 20-24 episodes like the usual K-dramas. Dan sebab masih banyak lagi episodnya, personally, tak berapa 'menghayatinya' sangat. Tengok, bukannya tak tengok tapi selalunya in between rounds to the dapur (time-time nak dah berbuka ni, can't really stay put in front of the tv) and also I'm still in the Snowman's mode, haha .
Thanks for the observations, my thoughts exactly. And the little info about Jae-hyuk, there seems to be dark secrets about him. Yes, Chul-woong memang sangat-sangat sukakan Sun-woo and she made him change. Walaupun dia mengambil cara yang salah lagi merbahaya but he's finally doing something with his life, unlike before, melepak je. And he idolizes Bruce Lee all the way.
Sun-woo's definitely tertarik dengan Jae-hyuk, he's like the perfect gentleman but at the same time keeps thinking of Chul-woong, because all the things that he did. Yelah, secara tak sedar macam Sun-woo dah mula 'jatuh hati', di tempat kerja dia 'terfikirkan' Jae-hyuk tapi bila balik ke rumah, it's Chul-woong. 2 men with very different personalities, one is aiming for revenge while the other is showing his love the wrong way.
Seung-hee, walaupun jenis yang jahat & scheming tapi suka tengok bila dia bercakap, bulat betul matanya  .
Yon-woong, what can we say, "like brother like sister". Nampaknya dia dan cousin Tae-hee (tak ingat namanya) macam ada 'attraction' between them. Hmm....

Glass Shoes - episode 19
Walaupun Chul-woong jenis yang agak "hot-tempered" dan suka bergaduh, he has a really sweet & romantic side. Paling suka tengok dia beri Sun-woo cincin berlian yang diikat dengan tali kasut jadi rantai sebagai pengganti rantai yang hilang tu. Memang Chul-woong jenis yang kasar tapi nyata dia amat prihatin, to Sun-woo especially. Ingat tak baju yang dia belikan untuk Sun-woo tu? The one that she wanted to buy & selalu tengok tiap-tiap kali lalu depan butik tu? Walaupun Chul-woong bungkus baju tu dalam kertas suratkhabar je tapi cukup membuatkan Sun-woo menangis, terharu dan gembira.
