can i just reiterate the fact that we sporeans arent bloody rich but we r willing to fork out money to vote for the country's representative?

majority who vote r middle-class sporeans who arent filthy rich, ie normal heartlanders. i do admit though that the middle class here r perhaps slightly more affluent than the middle class in other asian countries like msia, indon n phil. a makcik was reported to have spent sgd$100 to vote for hady (note: not just prepubescent gerls eh?)
