wow... looking at those pix gave me a LOT of memories! Hahaha...

Dulu memang minat gila kat Vanilla Ice (Ice Ice Baby, I Love You, Rollin' in my 5.0 etc) - i actually memorized most of his raps. Now that I look back i wonder what on earth was i thinking back then! :stp: MC Hammer was so in as well...

And yes, i remember 3T too... anak-anak sedara Michael Jackson... hit singles like 'Anything' from the album Brotherhood. Not bad jugaklah the album, only that they sound and look too much like MJ (but its not their fault la they look like MJ).

Anyone remembers Chris Cuevas tak? Im not surprised if takde org ingat... dia ni pernah duet dgn Debbie Gibson lagu 'Somehow Someway'. I actually have that cassette... :re:

Male acts yang dah hilang macam Paul Lekakis, Joey Lawrence (the actor who also had hits like 'Nothing My Love Can't Fix' and 'Stay Forever'), Snow (white rapper ala Vanilla Ice - lagu 'Informer'), and ntah sapa-sapa lagilah i can't recall. Milli Vanilli memang group that lip synced... even their award in American Music Awards kalau tak silap kena tarik balik.

Memories.... ni la zaman my early teens... late 80's, early 90's stuff. And I was one of the many NKOTB fans. Sekarang tengok boybands je dah menyampah

So by the time N'Sync, BSB, Moffats, Hanson arrived, I was already into more serious stuff like R&B and soul.

Kalau nak tengok these people, just watch Channel V's The year That Was... best!

Tapi nak kata bila sesuatu era tu abis...akan pudar dan malap lah artis tu tak jugak....yer mungkin ada betulnya tapi kenapa ada artis2 yang mampu bertahan cam Madonna, Mariah Carey, Michael Jackson, The bettles...kan..kan...kan...

In my opinion, artis-artis yang mampu bertahan after so long maybe because they keep reinventing themselves every time - a classic example will be Madonna. From her image that oozes with sexuality to her pointed bras to her blonde phase to her gothic look in the Frozen video. She goes on with the times. Like her more recent albums, she put in electronica sounds.

Michael Jackson was a huge phenomenon in his time, so it's highly impossible for people to forget him just like that, just like in the case of the Beatles or Elvis Presley. People will still talk about their music probably even 100 years from now.

Yang lain-lain tu... probably a case of being at the wrong place at the wrong time... or just one hit wonders... :nana:
