Tp im rasa lah kan .. klu dia potong rambut botak pun tak jauh beza nye dr rupa dia masa buat penggambaran Dirty Carnival tu kan ..

Jo In Sung enlisted in the army

Actor Jo In Sung said his goodbyes to civilian life as he started serving his nation from today.

Jo In Sung reported at 1pm this afternoon at the Republic of Korea Air Force Education and Training Command in Jinju, South Gyeongsang Province where he will receive 6 weeks of basic military training. Thereafter, he will then serve out the remainder of his 26 months of national service with the military performers section (band, music, MC work, etc).

Jo In Sung had enrolled for the military performers section during the enlistment exercise last November. He was supposed to enlist in January 2009 but delayed the call-up to 6th April. due to promotions for his movie Frozen Flower. He wrapped up his schedule with his last CF for clothing brand Aiden recently and had also took part in fan meetings in Japan and Korea last month to say goodbye to his fans who hated to see him leave.

Jo In Sung spent the entire day with his family yesterday and left for Jinju this morning. Fans from his fanclub including Japan, etc were present to send off Jo In Sung.

His enlistment comes amidst high tensions on the Korean peninsular where South Korea, Japan, China and America are closely monitoring North Korea attempted missile/satellite launch which failed and landed in the Sea of Japan over the weekend.

Jo In-sung enlists

By now, we all know the drill.

Another 28-year-old actor (or, in this case, he’s a few months shy of 28) — who’s been hyping up his army departure for months, with a “last movie” (Frozen Flower), a “last fanmeeting” (in Japan), and a “last photo shoot” (for a clothing ad campaign) — finally heads off to complete his roughly two-year service in the military.

Jo In-sung enlisted on April 6, sent off with the requisite camera crew and crowd of about 200 fans.

Jo had originally received his papers last November and planned to enlist in January, but then pushed the day back in order to complete promo activities for his last film, Frozen Flower.

He debuted in 1998 as a CF model, then rose to fame after roles on the MBC Nonstop campus sitcom, dramas like What Happened in Bali and Spring Days, and movies like A Dirty Carnival.

He’ll serve for 25 months as part of a special performers’ unit (military band) in the air force.
