It would be wonderful if we share about what Jesus means to us. Lets share what His character is like :hmm: Lets share how He changed our life
Share His Love, His kindness, His grace, His mercy, His blessing and many more........

In your darkess hour or during dificult time, does your faith shattered? Had your love for Him grown lukewarm?
Had you blamed Jesus for all the bad things that had happend in your life? well, i did!
But when i come to Him with a broken hearted and seek His forgivness, i began to feel His love for me, and my tears flowed even more. His love is so strong it wiped all my worries, my fears, my tears........His love gave me joy

Are you on fire for Him, let the  flame of your love for Him  lits a fire in someone else's heart. Let the fire of His love spread out........:love:

No, I hv not blamed Jesus for bad things - I blame myself, most of the time. But I have my fair share of other things: shattered faith, lost trust, lukewarm love... Perhaps i'll talk about my lukewarm love first.. and how Jesus changed that. This is one of my very first experiences with Him as a Christian.

I think it抯 going to be a bit lengthy.. (well, I figured that it抯 either I write whole-heartedly, or I don抰 write at all.. and I guess, that is why my posts are mostly lengthy.)

Well, the Lord Jesus Christ has been in my life too much now for me to pass by this thread without saying anything. And He has done too much for me to move away from Him. And I'm a Christian today, not because of who I am, but because of who He is. It抯 not because I抦 religious.. but it's because of what He did for me...

I guess, the way I address the Lord Jesus Christ now, speaks pretty much of what He means to me. He is my LORD Jesus Christ. But I have to admit that, when I was younger, I used to call Him, my Savior Jesus Christ. (yes, very superficial, I know). I used to be what you call, a superficial Christian. There was a point in time where I didn't really want Him as Lord.. I only wanted Him as Savior. No, it抯 NOT that I didn抰 believe Him as God. I believed He is God, yes.  But what I didn抰 really do, was make Him MY Lord. But that has changed a lot now

Thanks casejulia. Yes, the Great Shepherd indeed. Psalm 23 is one of my favorite psalm too. Unfortunately, my post got too long for me to post the psalm there.
And yeah.. i've been counting my blessings since you started this thread. Can't stop thinking about the goodness of our Lord Jesus Christ. He's just.. wonderful.

Wonderful.. Counsellor.. the Mighty God...

He heals my emotional and spiritual pain
When someone you love hurts you, betrayal you, and  leave you, it causes so much pain. It makes your life shattered!
But Jesus said "I love you more than he does. I died for you, so you may live" - Thank you Jesus.

Whatever sickness you suffered, physical, emotional or sipritual - God is Able to heal you! Maybe it's seems  impossible for man but for God everything is Possible

I can relate to that! Jesus has been my healer before too. Healed me from some really bad hurt and pain.
And not only He has healed me, but He helped me to do what that seems impossible at that time - to love someone who has hurt me, as a friend.. (But then, i'm not perfect either.. we have both hurt each other, in fact..)
Suffice to say, tho i couldn't love, i didn't hate that person. It was more like.. i just wanted to forget. But God didn't want me to forget.. He wants me to love.. In fact, in all those times i pray and cried to Him, He just said: love thy neighbour as thyself.. (yeah, at that time, i was like =|.. what? God, You kidding? Here am i in all this hurt, and you are asking me to love???) You know what the Lord said? He simply said.. "Jesus died for you."

i guess, all in all, Jesus showed me the extent of His love. That even though we hurt and cause Him grief.. He still loves us, even to the extent that He died for us. i guess, through my own pain and hurt, He allowed me to to understand more on how He loved us.. and that has helped me to appreciate Jesus even more...

Suffice to say, i hv healed now.. and i think he has too.. and what more, me and that friend.. through God's grace.. hv found it in us to forgive and to be forgiven of each other.. and are still friends..

What has Jesus been to me so far?
In addition to my... Great Shepherd and my Healer..

1) Jesus is my wonderful Savior.
This is probably one of the most wonderful of all. It's wonderful to know that i do not need to depend on my own to earn His merit. Well, some ppl accuse Christians of being "selfish" - that we only accept Jesus because we want an easy way of faith. Well, it depends on how you see it. But then, to me.. if it's not for Jesus, we'll NEVER be able to earn God's merit. The whole world - NONE of us will be able ot earn God's approval and make ourselves right with God. We are all stained with sim.. and as long as we have sin in us, even if just a tiny bit.. even if our sins are not serious sins.. it is enough to tarnish us, and send us to the damnation of hell forever. God has a very high standard of holiness. Nothing we do will ever be good enough for God. And if Jesus hasn't come to die for me - i'll never never never go to heaven when i die. In fact, we the whole world - none of us will ever go to heaven when we die....

And for a long long time, i've been thinking and feeling this way: His death and suffering on the cross, just because He loved us, that touched my heart.. until i learnt something even more:

Christ suffering on the cross is MORE than just his death and suffering on the cross. It was not just the suffering, that caused the deep agony in Him. When Jesus bore our sins that day, it was to the extent that His Father had to turn His face away from Him. Because of our sins which were heaped upon Him, He was forsaken and cut away from God.. and He did all these just so that WE will not be cut away from God any more...

Jesus- A friend of Sinners

I'm a sinner, but im glad that Jesus still wanted to be my friend.

If we read in Luke 7:37-48, there's a woman which is a sinner, when she knew that Jesus was eating in the Pharisee's house,  she brought a jar of perfume, she was wepping and she wet Jesus feet with her tears. Then she wiped them with her hair, kissed them and poured perfume on them. And Jesus said to her "Your sins are forgiven."

In John 4, Jesus was tired and sat on a well. a lady who was living in adultery came to the well. She was living with a man to whom she was not married. She had had five husbands. Jesus knew she was a sinner yet he ask the lady to give him a drink. Oh, Jesus was a friend of sinners. He loved her. He cared for her. And indeed Jesus offer her "The Living Water" (Holy Spirit)

In Luke 23:32-43, At the crufifixion, Jesus was crucified between two criminals. One of the criminals believed that Jesus forgive sinners. He said to Jesus "remember me when you come into your kingdom". And Jesus assured him "today you will be with me in paradise". How wonderful!

Jesus never reject sinners but He loved them and died for them. Thank you Jesus.

Here I AM again, personally to share with you all the wonderful of GOD LOVE.

First, I would like to thanks Casejulia for this wonderful thread.

And I really thanks GOD for HE is so merciful LORD匟e gave me chances to see the world surrounding me for another day again and again.

I am one of the cancer patients; the ENT Specialist confirmed that I have cancer in my nose (Nasopharyngeal carcinoma). I have completed radiotherapy and 6 cycles of chemotherapy in 2000 and 2001 respectively.

Yes GOD is so good.. HE is my healer.. HE is my savior

I understand why you wrote with large fonts, but with fonts that large, I need to enlarge my eyes. Pardon, this is my first time here. I'm here to relate some of my own experience. I've changed a lot since I began to believe in Jesus and accepted Him as my Saviour. My temper, the way I see things, the way I behave (well, some times I do lapsed back to the old ways). The mot important thing is, for the last two years, my prayers were answered one by one.

Thank you brother. I'm currently using the Christian name of Danny. But I have been thinking about it. I have affinity towards the name Paul more than to Danny, which is the shorten form of Daniel. Why Paul? Because of what I did in the past that have hurt hearts of many Christians; words that came out of my heart had hurt many. Yet, He accepted my return just like Paul who had persecuted Christians before his conversion.
